Packaging technologist

Packaging technologists use 3D software to develop and design customised packaging solutions for our well-known customers. By learning the important basics of packaging design and production technologies, you will lay the foundation for further development.
In addition to knowledge of metalworking, hydraulics and pneumatics, you will familiarise yourself with our state-of-the-art production machines and learn how to operate them. The entire corrugated board production process is included in the packaging technologist apprenticeship. Checking the production quality and rectifying faults on our machines are part of your regular tasks. You will learn about quality testing in our modern laboratory.
Duration: 3 years (can be shortened to 2.5 years)
