Octabins are usually produced for all standard CP pallet sizes, whereby the 1,140 x 1,140 mm size is generally used. All customer-specific requirements as well as customised sizes and designs are possible.

Typical Octabin users pack bulk goods such as powders, granulated and flaky products and small components such as plastic or metal caps and PET preforms as well as frozen foods.

All Octabin types are designed for home and export use.

Quick Bin 4.0

The new generation of octabin

The Quick Bin 4.0 offers a laminated inner and outer lid in combination with a patented corrugated cardboard construction. The increased service life of the improved octabin enables a breakthrough in cost reduction. 

The patented automatic bottom construction and integrated inner coating ensure that the Quick Bins are ready for filling in just a few seconds by simply pressing down.

The reduced transport volume of the Quick-Bin 4.0 in B-flute design significantly increases the freight volume per truck. Our customers benefit and save on transportation compared to the conventional telescopic octabin design.

Regular rigit octabins

characteristic features

  • This construction has eight equal panels
  • During stacking the octabin sleeve will bear up to the total weight of the octabin that is stacked on top
  • If the octabin is not completely filled, problems can occur

  • The headroom will decrease the stacking strength of the octabin due to the fact that the octabin panels are not supported by the content

Irregular rigit octabins

Characteristic features

  • The panel dimensions can differ
    • 4 + 4 equal panels
    • 4 + 2 + 2 equal panels
  • The long panels will bulge after filling
  • During stacking the octabin sleeve will bear up to the total weight of the octabin that is stacked on top
  • The headroom will decrease the stacking strength of the octabin due to fact that the octabin panels are not supported by the content

Telescopic octabin construction

characteristic features

  • Octabin design for packing different product densities
  • This construction consists of 2 combined sleeves
  • The telescopic sleeve is mounted on the main sleeve
  • The telescopic sleeve will slip downwards during stacking until the product level is reached
  • The product will bear the weight of the octabin stacked on top
  • No headroom: higher safety level
